FlightSafety International's (FSI's) third flight simulator for the Gulfstream V has received Level D approval. The FSI-built simulator, at its Greater Philadelphia/Wilmington training centre, has the company's latest Vital 9 visual system. Gulfstream II and III simulators at FSI's Long Beach, California, centre have been upgraded with Vital 9 visuals and certificated to Level C. A second Level D GIV simulator is planned for Long Beach.
