Reliability is the key to success for the US-based Aircraft Parts Corporation (APC) which is making its fourth appearance at Farnborough (Hall 3/A5). The company, specialises in the manufacture of starter-generators and has produced more than 25,000 since its beginnings in 1968. The advanced APC ‘XL' starter-generator will run up to 3,000h between brush changes and features an armature life of between 14 and 16 years.
