Grob Aerospace has opted for the Thales integrated electronic standby instrument (IESI) as standard equipment on its G160 Ranger single-engined business turboprop. The IESI displays attitude, airspeed and altitude data on a 3ATI active-matrix liquid crystal display. Certificatin of the $3 million G160 is scheduled for the end of the year.
