John Sheehan has been named secretary-general of the International Council of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Associations (IAOPA), of Frederick, Maryland. He succeeds Steven Brown, who now heads the National Aeronautic Association. Sheehan has previously been involved with IAOPA technical operations and is a former management and training consultant for corporate ßight operations at Washington DC-based Phaneuf.
