The Mexican air force has received its first two PC-9M primary trainers from Pilatus under a previously undisclosed contract. Pictured leaving Glasgow Prestwick airport in the UK late last month during a ferry flight from Pilatus's Stans manufacturing facility, Mexico's first PC-9M - tail number 2601 - was accompanied by the air force's second production example. Both aircraft carried temporary Swiss civilian registrations during the transfer. Pilatus declines to reveal further details about the deal, but regional sources suggest the service will take delivery of a further 16 aircraft by the end of next year.
