Another Israeli unmanned air vehicle has crashed in Lebanon and has been destroyed by a manned air force aircraft, according to local reports.

The UAV is believed to have crashed on June 21 while flying over the Bekaa Valley. Images published by Lebanon’s Hezbollah-affiliated Al Manar television channel claimed to show the remains of the UAV, including what appeared to be a wing and twisted pieces of metal.

The report then claims that an Israeli air force jet was seen over the area shortly after the UAV crashed, and that the jet then targeted the crashed vehicle.

It is not the first time that reports from Lebanon have claimed that Israeli UAVs that have crashed on Lebanese soil have been destroyed shortly afterwards by an Israeli air force aircraft.

According to sources, the Israeli air force is keeping an almost 24/7 presence over Lebanon with UAVs.
