Mindanao Express, the Philippine-based regional airline formed in 1996, has recently taken delivery of six secondhand Raytheon Aircraft models, including four Beech C99s, and two 1900Cs (pictured). The Philippine airline has begun operating a series of routes in the intra-Mindanao rural areas, and in addition is providing connections to major cities such as Cebu, Davao and Manila. The contract with the US airframe company, which includes the supply of aircraft, training and spares, is valued at around $24 million.
