UK line maintenance specialist Storm Aviation is expanding its service to include light base checks.

Parent FL Technics says that Storm Aviation will complete services up to 1C-checks for Airbus A320-family and Boeing 757 jets .

This will include large component and engine changes, cabin interior reconfigurations and major modifications, the Lithuanian MRO group adds.

Storm Aviation will conduct the work at its London Stansted headquarters out of Diamond hangar.

That site operator's website indicates the hangar is used by several companies in the business and commercial aviation fields.

Storm Aviation chief executive Thomas Buckley says: "Our synergy with FL Technics and experienced base maintenance professionals working at their hangars in Jakarta, Kaunas and Vilnius will without a doubt give us a head start."
