Maintenance, repair and overhaul firm Ameco Beijing has reported a 6.2% revenue growth in 2009, despite the global recession.

The company, a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa, did not provide specific revenue figures but says it has "achieved its 2009 revenue target".

"With revenue increase of 6.2%, Ameco Beijing managed to keep growing in a challenging market environment and to remain on its growth path," says Ameco Beijing.

It adds that it managed to increase its market share through facility developments and capability expansion. It has invested 1.5 billion yuan ($220 million) to expand its facilities from 2005 to 2010.

"Ameco Beijing is ready for the challenges ahead and is confident to continue its development of profitable growth in 2010," says the MRO firm.
