Northrop Grumman has named Ralph Crosby as corporate vice-president and general manager of Northrop, the company's Commercial Aircraft division. He succeeds Gordon William, who will begin a special assignment until his retirement at the end of this year. Crosby has served as the Commercial Aircraft division's corporate vice-president and deputy general manager and he has been corporate vice-president and deputy general manager of the Military Aircraft Systems division. Dean Philpott has been appointed director-Wings Programs at the Commercial Aircraft division. He will lead the Gulfstream V Integrated Product Team and assume leadership of the capture team for new Wing business. Philpott joined the company in 1962 and replaces Steve Yarbrough, who is retiring.
