You say (Flight International, 3-9 June) that the Antonov An-140, recently delivered to Motor-Sich, is the first airframe to start satisfying that "immediate requirement for 20 An-140s". This could lead readers to believe that this is the first production An-140 shipped to a Ukrainian customer.

Some of these turboprops are already in service with Odessa Airlines and Kharkiv Aeromost, leased from UkrTransLeasing.

It is not a big issue, but it could be sensitive for Antonov and the KhGAPP, which struggle to secure sales of this aircraft in increasingly hostile export and mediocre domestic markets.
