Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) has sold five civil variants of its Mushshak aerobatic trainer in South Africa and is in talks to sell another five.
PAC aircraft manufacturing factory managing director Zakir Khan says five Mushshaks sold in the second half of last year will be delivered to private flying clubs in South Africa in May and June. Negotiations with PAC's South African agent Uni Group Holdings, for another five Mushshaks, are ongoing.
The two-seat Mushshak is a version of the Saab Safari licence-manufactured in Pakistan.
