German flag-carrier Lufthansa has shown off its first Airbus A350, after livery painting of the aircraft was completed at Toulouse.

The aircraft (MSN74), yet to have its Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines fitted, has spent 11 days in the paint-shop.

Lufthansa is to station the aircraft in Munich, where the first 10 of its A350s will be positioned.

The airline has 25 A350s on order.

Lufthansa says the 293-seat aircraft will initially serve Boston and Delhi.
