The UK Ministry of Defence is expected to issue a requirements document in mid-year seeking a new targeting pod for the Royal Air Force's Eurofighter Typhoon and Panavia Tornado GR4 strike aircraft. Raytheon intends to offer its ATFLIR pod, developed for the US Navy. The Typhoons will receive the Northrop Grumman/Rafael Litening II targeting pod as an interim measure.
