It is fairly well known now that an unfortunate mid-air took place over the holiday break. The cause of the incident, pictured here, is under investigation by the FAA (Festive Accident Alerts) but is thought to be linked to either a failure of the TCAS (Tinsel, Christmas and Sleigh) avoidance system or the recently fitted ADS-B (Automatic Deer Sensor - Blitzen) system.
In addition, Megajets has asked me to ask if any nieces or nephews recognise the aircraft in question. Spotting friends high up the food chain tell me ('cos the air data sensors are forward near the pressure bulkhead, and it has an airstair) that the Santa bludger is a 737-200. Ten points if you can tell me who it belongs to.
