Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Company (GAMECO) has signed a memorandum of understanding with China Postal Airlines to extend a maintenance agreement.
A new agreement, for an additional three years through 2012, will be signed by 1 March 2010, says GAMECO.
It will cover the maintenance, base maintenance, engineering support, material support, and component repair and overhaul for China Postal's fleet of 17 Boeing 737 aircraft.
The agreement will also cover any new aircraft in the future, adds GAMECO, a joint venture between China Southern Airlines and Hong Kong's Hutchison Whampoa Aircraft Investment.
