The US Air Force Space Command has signed a deal with the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) to co-operate on educational programmes and initiatives to train space professionals.
The deal establishes UCCS as the lead university of a proposed consortium of further education institutions aiming to provide opportunities for space-related training, education and research to help boost the number of civilian and military space professionals in the USA.
