he Lockheed Martin-led Space Imaging Eosat organisation, which is scheduled to launch its first Ikonos commercial remote sensing satellite in June, has established a European affiliate company in Athens, Greece. It will market Ikonos imagery and geographical information products to 50 countries, ranging from the UK to the Middle East and from Scandinavia to Northern Africa The Ikonos will offer at best, a 0.8m panchromatic resolution.
