Russia's Advanced Sukhoi Technologies (AST) has appointed two agencies to handle all sales and marketing of its sporting and aerobatic aircraft outside the CIS and the former Eastern Bloc. Customers will no longer be able to order aircraft directly from the Moscow factory. UK-based Richard Goode Aerobatic Displays, an AST distributor, will handle sales in Australasia, South Africa and Western Europe, while Snaproll Aerobatics of the USA will represent the Sukhoi Design Bureau subsidiary in North and South America. To date, AST has sold 164 aerobatic aircraft, including the Su-26, Su-29 and Su-31/M.
