Russia’s Nordwind Airlines has selected Inflight Canada’s PSS+ in-flight connectivity system for its new fleet of six Boeing 777-300ERs.

The Moscow Sheremetyevo-based carrier will also install the system on its two Airbus A330 aircraft. Nordwind already has the system installed on its fleet of six Boeing 777-200s.

“We find the IFC system well-suited to all aircraft types because of its unique design that makes use of the same system components across all aircraft platforms, with the further advantage of reducing costs in spares and both cabin crew and line maintenance training,” says Nordwind.

The PSS+ is designed to fit into any aircraft type and is small enough to fit into any seat model, says Quebec-based Inflight Canada.
