Updated to correct that SIA has yet to disclose the seat count for its incoming A380s.

Singapore Airlines has revealed that it will introduce new cabin products across its various seat segments on the remaining five Airbus A380s it has on order.

SIA says the new seats in economy, premium-economy, business and first-class-suites segments will be launched on the Singapore-Sydney route on 18 December.

It adds that additional destinations for the new products will be announced "in the coming months".

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that three A380s are due to be delivered later this year, with the remaining two to arrive by June 2018.

Fleets Analyzer also shows that SIA's A380s have two configurations. One has a total seat count of 441, comprising 333 economy, 36 premium economy, 60 business and 12 first-class suites. Another configuration in use by SIA has a total seat count of 379: 245 economy, 36 premium economy, 86 business and 12 first-class suites.

SIA also operates the A380s on routes to Beijing, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London, Melbourne, Mumbai, New Delhi, New York, Osaka, Paris, Shanghai and Zurich.

FlightGlobal schedules data shows that SIA operates alongside its low-cost unit Scoot on Singapore-Sydney, and competes against Qantas and British Airways on the route.
