Singapore Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean on the throttle of ST Aero's Flexible Advanced Systems Technology Solution (FAST) cockpit concept demonstrator. Teo officially opened Asian Aerospace yesterday morning. ST Aero programme development manager Ng Yu Juan, who is looking on, explains FAST is a flexible, configurable system that integrates sensor displays onto common screens. Ng says it's meant to improve the pilot-machine interface, and therefore reaction time.
