The US Army has awarded Bell Helicopter Textron a $40.3 million contract to build 30 TH-67 training helicopters for Taiwan. The TH-67 Creek is used by the US Army to train initial-entry rotary-wing students at Ft Rucker, Alabama. More than 150 TH-67s are being purchased to replace ageing Bell UH-1s used for training.
