Uprated satellite

An upgraded US Air Force Defense Satellite Communications Systems (DSCS) satellite built by Lockheed Martin has been delivered to Florida for a January launch aboard an International Launch Services Atlas booster. The DSCS III B8 is one of four remaining super-high-frequency craft carrying Service Life Enhancement Program upgrades.
