US military to test BAE's fly-by-wire alternative on Chinook
Testing of a BAE Systems fly-by-wire alternative for mechanical helicopters – the Active Parallel Actuator Subsystem (APAS) – will begin in January 2015 on-board the US military’s Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopter, the company has confirmed.
