Doncasters has secured a E7.5 million contract to supply Tusas Engine Industries (TEI) with parts for the powerful 11,000shp (8,202 kW) EuroProp International TP400 turboprop engine that will power the Airbus Military A400M.
Mike Askew, Doncasters managing director aerospace, signed the deal with TEI general manager Tayfun Mutlu. Doncasters will supply centrispun cast titanium rings of vanes for the front bearing housing of the TP400.
