Air Caledonie has renewed its maintenance agreement with ATR for another five years.

The contract will cover pool and repair for line replaceable units for the Noumea-based carrier’s fleet of four ATR 72-600s. The extension will include additional line replaceable units, as well as propeller services, says ATR.

Air Caledonie operates a fleet of four ATR 72-600s.

Cirium fleets data shows that the domestic carrier’s ATRs are between four and five years old.

Says David Brigante, senior vice president for customer support and services at ATR: “Air Caledonie’s decision to extend and enhance their contract shows the quality of support that we are delivering. To meet the needs of an airline that is providing essential connectivity in a geography as diverse as New Caledonia is a real source of pride for ATR and truly demonstrates the value of our [global maintenance agreement].”
