AlliedSignal Aerospace has won a $40 million deal to supply auxiliary power units (APUs), wheels, brakes and avionics to GATX Capital for 33 Boeing 737s, 757s and Airbus A320s. It has also agreed a $30 million deal to provide 36-300 APUs for Airbus A319s, A320s and A321s operated by Canadian Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Eurowings of Germany. The US company has also received certification of its FPD500 flat-panel primary flight display on a Boeing 727-200. The colour display can replace electro-mechanical units in less than 1h.
