Rockwell Collins' (Hall 4, A2) Pro Line 21 integrated avionics system has been selected by Arinc Engineering Services as an upgrade for the US Navy's fleet of 55 Beechcraft T-44A aircraft. The aircraft, military versions of the King Air 90, are used for multi-engine pilot training.

Arinc will serve as the purchasing and installation agency for the four-year programme, and L-3 Communications is the prime contractor.

The Pro Line 21 integrated avionics package includes two 10x8in high-resolution, liquid crystal adaptive flight displays. Additional Rockwell Collins features include the FMS-3000, the GPS-4000A global satellite positioning system; the Pro Line 21 CNS communication, navigation and surveillance sensors; the Dual AHS-3000 attitude heading reference; dual-channel automatic flight control system and dual ADS-3000 air data systems.
