Flight have produced a 100 years of Flight International 2008 Calendar Screen Saver for users to download for free.

It has pictures and key milestones of twelve modern icons that mark 100 years of Flight.

The calendar simply needs to be installed using the directions below and it will then automatically update each month, displaying a great image and providing relevant links back to Flightglobal.

Installing the Flight Calendar Screen Saver

Windows Users

  1. Click link above to download the calendar
  2. Click the Open button to open the file you just downloaded.
  3. After the file has downloaded you will see a window containing the file flight_calendar_2008_win.
  4. Double click this file
  5. You may be asked if you are sure if you want to run the software. If so, click on Run to run the installer program.
  6. Click on Install to install the screen saver.
  7. Your screen saver is now installed!
  8. To change how long your computer will wait before showing the Flight calendar screen saver, right click on a blank section of your desktop, and choose Properties from the menu, then click on the Screen Saver tab of the window.
  9. Here you can choose how long the computer will wait before running the screen saver, or you can click on Preview to see it immediately.
     

Mac OS X Users

  1. Click link above to download the calendar
  2. When the file has been downloaded, an icon will appear on your computer desktop, marked flight_calendar_2008_mac.zip. double click this icon to unzip the installer software and continue.
  3. When the installer has been unzipped, a new icon will appear on your desktop marked flight_ssaver. Double click this to run the installer program.
  4. Click on Install to install the screen saver.
  5. Your screen saver is now installed!
  6. Your Mac will now automatically show the desktop and screen saver settings window.
  7. Here you can choose how long the computer will wait before running the screen saver, or you can click on Test to see it immediately.
