Whether it's a new golf club, film for that perfect flying display shot or the traditional airshow souvenir T-shirt, the Dubai Duty Free shops at the show have it covered.

The shops have been doing a brisk trade since opening day.

Daily newspapers and cold drinks are usually top of most people's shopping lists but there are more adventurous options.

Carry away a giant-sized cuddly toy or an impressive framed photograph of the airshow taken from the skies, for example. Anita Mehra, director of marketing for the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation, says: "There's a bigger range of goods on offer than ever before and that has made for good business.

"Dubai Duty Free is famous for its gold jewellery and the duty-free pricing makes it very attractive to visitors."

Best of all, if you miss it at the show, you can still get it at the airport when you depart.
