Embraer has selected CMC Electronics' PilotView electronic flight bag (EFB) for its E-jet regional airliner families and Legacy 600 and Lineage 1000 business jets.
The portable dual EFB system device supports applications including navigational charts, taxiway maps, checklists, real-time weather information and video from surveillance cameras or enhanced vision systems.
It has an 8.4in (213mm) touchscreen readable in all cockpit light conditions, with the capability of transferring screens between pilots with a single key touch.
