The crews of a French air force Dassault Mirage 2000D and a Royal Saudi Air Force Boeing F-15 fighter ejected safely after their aircraft were involved in a mid-air collision in Saudi Arabia on 14 January.

The French air force said an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the mishap, and confirmed that both crew members of the Mirage escaped after suffering only bruises as a result of the ejection.
