Konrad Lewald, sales manager of German aircraft manufacturer Burkhart Grob, has died in an accident involving one of the company's G115T aerobatic trainer aircraft. His co-pilot, an air force major from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was also killed. The accident occurred near Schwabm_nchen. Eyewitness reports suggest that the aircraft went into a spin at an altitude of 650-800ft (200-250m) during aerobatic manoeuvres, from which the pilot failed to recover. The UAE air force has ordered 12 G115Ts.
