In its first 20-year forecast covering the full range of aircraft, Embraer predicts a market for 8,450 small jets, seating between 30 and 120 passengers. It believes aircraft in the size of its new 170 and 190 models will account for 25% of all operational aircraft in 20 years, up from the 15% share they now hold. It predicts North America will take about half of the aircraft, assuming that US pilot scope clauses are relaxed.
