Honeywell is set to sign a $150 million, 10-year contract with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) to provide avionics logistics support to its fleet of C130 and F111 aircraft. Honeywell announced at the Show that it has been selected as preferred tenderer for the contract.

The deal will cover maintenance, engineering, asset and materials logistics management support for all avionics equipment on board the aircraft. It will use state-of-the-art forecasting and we-based management tools in a bid to reduce the RAAF's cost of ownership and increased operational availability.
