The US National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) will launch the first annual Asian Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (ABACE) forum in Hong Kong from 15-16 July. The ABACE convention, modelled on NBAA-sponsored events in Europe and the Americas, will move to Shanghai in 2005, to address " the needs of the emerging business aviation community in Asia".

Turkish business jet charter company Air Sapphire has been heavily fined by the US government for flying a Gulfstream GIV to Russia without authorisation.
The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered inspections of the Gulfstream G500 and G600 fleet in response to a “quality escape” involving improperly installed engine-mounting hardware.
