Biman Bangladesh Airlines has issued a tender seeking the overhaul and loan of landing gears for its Boeing 777-300ER fleet.

Tender documents reveal that the contract will span five years and will cover the landing gears of the carrier’s four 777s.

The winner will provide overhaul and repair works for the landing gears, together with loaned shipset support.

Bidders must have at least five years’ experience in landing gear overhaul, and have experience overhauling at least 10 Boeing 777-300ER landing gear shipsets.

Biman adds that the overhaul life of the landing gears in two of the Boeing 777-300ER jets are due to expire in the second half of 2021, and early 2024 for the other two.

Cirium’s Fleets Analyzer shows that Biman currently operates 16 aircraft.
