Space Shuttle Discovery, which was launched from the Kennedy Space Center on 5 April on STS-131 for its penultimate flight into space, has docked with the International Space Station. The ISS's robotic arm was used to lift the Leonardo multipurpose logistics module from Discovery's payload bay and attached it to the Earth-facing side of the station's Harmony node. Discovery is due to return to Kennedy on 18 April, at the end of its 14-day mission. Just three more ISS flights remain before the Shuttle is retired from service.
