Lufthansa reports stronger-than-anticipated demand for the business jet service it began a year ago in partnership with NetJets Europe. “We have seen demand rise from an average of two flights a day to around 10 a day,” it says. Lufthansa Private Jets, which offers business- and first-class passengers business jet connecting flights throughout Europe, has widened its offering with the mid-size Hawker 800XP and larger Dassault Falcon 2000 joining the light Citation Bravo and superlight Excel business jet in the fleet. Lufthansa says it may offer the service in the USA and Asia.
