Most Boeing employees at its South Carolina 787 production site will return to work on 3 May or 4 May, ending a temporary site shutdown that began on 8 April.

The company halted operations at the North Charleston facility due to the coronavirus, and says production will resume with health and safety precautions, Boeing says on 27 April.

Boeing’s Washington state commercial aircraft production sites reopened last week after a several-week hiatus.
