Smiths Aerospace yesterday unveiled its new Asia-Pacific services business, formed to meet the needs of customers in the region for technical and logistical support and repair and overhaul.
The business is headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, with other locations in Newcastle (New South Wales) and Singapore.
David Withers, Smiths Aerospace Asia-Pacific customer services director, will head the business from the beginning of next month.
Existing avionics repair capabilities will be supplemented by the introduction of propeller, actuator and hydraulic repair and overhaul facilities.
