Czech engine manufacturer Walter, formerly known as Motorlet, claims to be Europe's largest manufacturer of turboprop engines in the 370-600kW-class. Current production models include the two-shaft, reverse-flow M601 turboprop, which powers Let L-410 and L-420 commuter aircraft, and the M602 three-shaft turboprop, which powers the L-610 regional aircraft.
