Israel's Rafael is offering an airborne version of its artillery-launched Carpet mine breaching system for possible use from helicopters and has demonstrated the concept to several potential European customers, it says. The standard launcher - selected to equip the French land forces - contains 20 timed fuel-air explosive rockets, each weighing 46kg (101lb).
